Character Map - Windows XP hidden applications

Character Map is an useful tool for finding unusual characters that are not normally found on the keyboard and adding these characters into your documents.

1. To access the Character Map, click Start button > Programs > Accessories > highlight Character Map and release your mouse button and the program will load. The Character Map is now in front of you.

2. Open your document or program and click your mouse in the spot where you want to insert your characters.

3. Click on any character, click on select and then click on copy.

4. Now with your cursor already clicked in the target area in your document, right click and select paste.
