Perfmon - Windows XP hidden applications

Perfmon is a tool that allows user-level code to access the performance counters present in Windows XP. It will display information on Windows running processes. If you have a performance problem you can first check which process is using most of the CPU, maybe it doesn't need to run.

To access the Character Map, click Start button > Run > type perfmon and press Enter.
